Shark D.A.D.S
Shark D.A.D.S (Dads of Amazing Daughters & Sons) is an innovative father involvement, educational initiative program that was inspired by the WATCH D.O.G.S. ® program of the National Center For Fathering.
The Shark D.A.D.S program continues to share 2 primary goals.
1) To provide positive male role models for the students
2) To enhance Child - Father connection
Who are Shark D.A.D.S ?
Shark D.A.D.S are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year at Sugar Creek Elementary. During the day, Shark D.A.D.S may read and work with students in the classroom, play at recess, eat lunch with students, watch the school entrances and hallways, assist with traffic flow and any other assigned activities where they actively engage with not only their own students, but other students as well.
